It was a nightmare.
The sky looked bruised. Wounded.
There was a girl. She cried. She threw rocks.
She saw a spider trying to walk, its legs kept sticking to the tumbling, black clouds. A spider tried to crawl along the clouds’ backside. Kept sticking.
Thought spiders got to free fall? Thought spiders got to look back on their webs and say hey, I built this?
Black clouds overcast a city. Sherbet lightning, grabbed it from the sky it fizzed on my tongue. Tasted metallic.
It was a nightmare. But you were there! And you!
And then I fell asleep.
