The wait is over, Love Kills tickets at the Melbourne Fringe Festival are available now!
Love. NOUN – a strong feeling of affection.
Kill. VERB – put an end to or defeat something.
Have you had a relationship that has gone horribly wrong? Perhaps you’ve had an affair to remember with a married man in Bali that was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Or maybe the odd lesbian fling? Well, if you’ve ever had your heart broken then Love Kills 2017 is the right Melb Fringe show for you. Director Noel Anderson (Andy Warhol’s Fifteen Minutes of Fame, Audrey Hepburn and I Consider Our Assets and the TV dating series NEXT) joins Melbourne’s best indie writers on a journey into the heart of love.
“I’ve had this idea for a long time” Anderson said. “A show like the Vagina Monologues, but about men and women. A series of twisted tales and the odd duet about love. I wanted it to be funny, truthful, confronting and provocative.”
LOVE KILLS 2017 features Kieran Carroll’s Robbed, Cheated of Something and Noel Anderson’s ‘Confide in Me.’ Other featured writers include: Tracie Lark, Melissa Collins, Rosalind Lewis, Geoff Stuart, Marion Roberts, Lourdes Zamanillo, Ursula Teresa Kolecki and Melka Stansah .
Warning: Contains course language, adult themes, themes of domestic violence
